FAQ: Frequently Asked Questions

I’m sure you have lots questions regarding choosing a wedding photographer for your big day so, prior to any wedding reservations I offer a free and no obligation consultation to discuss your ideas and wedding photography needs.

How much of a deposit do you require?
£50 secures your wedding day photography coverage. After this payments against your remaining balance can be 30 days before your wedding date.

When will my wedding photos be available to view?

Usually within 4 weeks after your ceremony, however during peak wedding season it may take up to 6 weeks.

I'm getting married out of the area.

No problem, I've covered weddings throughout the UK and even Europe. There may be an additional travelling expense, this will be discussed and agreed during your wedding consultation.

What happens if it rains?

It happens, don't worry. I have 20 umbrellas along with studio lights for use in light rain/drizzle. If the rain is heavy we'll find a suitable indoor location.

Are you insured?

I have public liability which covers all aspects of photography not just wedding photography.

What happens if you're unwell on our wedding day?

I'll be there on your wedding day! However, if I am unable to work due to a personal injury there are a team of 3 other photographers I work with who are on standby.

What makes your work different from other photographers?

I take all of my photos in intimate, relaxed settings and try to use natural lighting as often as possible.

Will I get copyrights to my photos?

You get all full copyrights to your photos, you can use them to do whatever you like with them.

Do we get every image you take?

Trust me when I say, you do not want every image I take! I will eliminate duplicate images, test shots, missed focused shots, shots with unflattering expressions and other images that may dilute the overall product delivery. I don't expect you to have the expertise or time to zoom into each image and pick the best one, so I spend the hours doing that on my end.
